Location: Margate, New Jersey

Description: From its early exposure, the Margate City Yacht Club has drawn children to its docks and taught them the joys of sailing on their own. The Sunfish has been their identity with independence and confidence. The membership at the club brought new friends for the whole family. The children learned good sportsmanship and camaraderie because of ground rules laid out by the flag officers. This race is the culmination of the summer training program the children love, and the parents come to cheer.
